Esthetics Program: Schedule & Tuition

  • Full-Time: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, 18 weeks

  • Part-Time (evenings): 4:00 PM–9:00 PM, Monday–Friday, 26 weeks

  • Start with a $1,500 deposit, then pay the rest monthly or weekly — whichever fits your budget

  • Optional Online Add-On (180 hours)

Tuition covers everything: the theory exam fee, one practical exam fee, and a Practical Testing Kit.

You'll study Anatomy & Physiology, Sanitation, Chemistry, Facial & Body Treatment, Hair Removal, Basic Skin Theory, Electricity, Make Up, and Salon Business - everything North Carolina requires for your esthetics license.

In the student clinic, you'll practice real client services: Basic and Advanced Facials, Microdermabrasion, HydraFacial, Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, Lash Lift & Tint, Lash Extensions, Brow Tint & Lamination, Facial & Body Waxing, Microneedling (1.0mm), and Microcurrent.

In North Carolina, a licensed esthetician can legally perform dermaplaning and microneedling (1.0mm) without a doctor on-site — two of the most requested, and most profitable, services in the industry. AIM's Esthetics Program trains you in both.

Every student also completes a 3-Day Business Masterclass covering branding, finding clients, and career planning — so you graduate ready to work at a spa or start building your own client base.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, skincare specialist jobs are projected to grow 7% from 2024 to 2034, with a median hourly wage near $20.
